The White House recently released a very misleading video discussing the 2001/2003 tax relief. Austan Goolsbee, Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, went on camera to promote the President’s plan to raise taxes. To tackle many of the video’s inaccuracies, we have released our own version.

@choyien26 Happy Sabbath to you as well. The Heritage Singers I know for sure are extremly popular in The Philippines that you need a lot of logistical organization for them to have a concert there. Both Adventists and non-Adventists alike are big fans of the Heritage Singers in not only The Philippines, but also in Jamaica and other Latin American and Caribbean countries.

This song was performed at my Daddy’s funeral. I have always loved it, and it was so appropriate, because me and my family knew that, even though it was the hardest thing we had ever, and still have ever, gone through, we would be okay, because we know the Peace Speaker! Amen.

In Jamaica the Heritage Singers are well known. We love their songs alot! As they say out here “Adventists are the best singers”. Love their ministry!!!

This is fear mongering. Obama is not raising the taxes. He is just letting the tax cuts expire. There is a reason for an expiration date. Back in 2003 why weren’t any of the conservatives concerned that Bush is going to RAISE taxes on us in 7 years. Maybe they were certain back then that this would not be republican’s problem in 7 years. Wake up guys! Stop supporting the plan to make the rich even more richer. It is not going to help anyone.

@Daniel44125 I just cant figure out why Heritage continuously bashes Obama for his “stimulus”,when they endorsed pretty strongly Bush’s TARP. So did alot of Republicans who have been bashing Obama.

anyone notice that the labels read “gop” and “president obama”? i thought the dichotomy was ‘republican’ and ‘democratic’, as in the two parties. my guess is that “democratic party” doesn’t focus group well anymore, so they substituted it with “president obama”. Also, it isn’t really up to obama, since he doesn’t control the purse strings. he can merely advocate for the plan to be passed by congress, no?

Clearly if the White House believes that eliminating the Bush Tax Cuts makes good economic sense, then why do they not sunset all the Bush Tax Cuts rather than just the wealthy? If it makes sense for one, it makes sense for all.
